Detailed Itinerary
Day 01 : Arrive Delhi
Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Delhi-Chandigarh-by shatabdi express-Nalagarh-drive 60 km;
     approx. 1½ hrs
In time transfer to the railway station to board your train for Chandigarh. On arrival you are met and you continue your journey by car/coach to Nalagarh. On arrival check into Nalagarh Fort for overnight stay.
Day 03 : Nalagarh-Manali – drive 250 km, 7-8 hrs
After breakfast drive to Manali, which is 1896 mtrs. above sea level and situated at the northern end of the Kullu valley. A picturesque little town bustling with activity, Manali is the most popular place in Himachal Pradesh during the summer season. Around Manali, nature has lavished the region with forests, waterfalls, green slopes, rivulets and soaring snow covered mountain peaks. Manali also boasts of a Mountaineering Institute, which imparts training in mountaineering, skiing and other adventure activities. Drive and explore the beauty of nature. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 04 : Manali- Batal – drive 105 km, 5-6 hrs
After early breakfast drive to Batal. Enroute cross Rohtang Pass (3978 m) and visit Chatru and Chota Dhara. Pir Panjal and Baralacha La merges at Kunzum La and Batal is nestled in it's footsteps. Evening free to explore the surroundings. Overnight in tents.

In time transfer to international airport to connect flight back home.
Day 05 : Batal -Chandratal by trek ( 16 km, altitude 4270 m)
Climb to Kunzumla (4559m) to have a glimpse of Spiti valley and down to Chandertal which means “Moon Lake”. Situated at 4270m Chandra Tal is a magical experience for many. Overnight in tents.  
Day 06 : Chandratal Lake
Spend the day exploring the the area. This is a fantastic place to rest and relax and to enjoy the breathtaking alpine setting. Across Chandra river you will see amazing glaciers and peaks of Mulki-la range and high peaks of Bara Shigri Overnight in tents.
Day 07 : Chandratal – Topko Gongma by trek ( 12 km, altitude 4400 M)
A good view of mountain peaks and glaciers throughout the 6 hrs trek today. Tokpo means river and Gongma means big. Walking besides Chandra River. Tokpo Gongma is situated at banks of this river. Overnight in tents.
Day 08 : Topko Gongma-Topko Yongma by trek (10 km, altitude 4640 M)
Yongma means small. The river should be crossed early morning when the water level is low or find some snow bridge. Overnight in tents.
Day 09 : Topko Yongma-Baralacha La by trek (10 km, altitude 4883 M)
The 8 kms long interesting pass gives rise to three rivers. Chandra – Bhaga & Yunam. The landscape is fabulous with vivid colours. Camp after crossing the pass or drive to Jespa (56 km) and stay overnight in hotel.
Day 10 : Jespa-Manali
Drive to Manali. Enroute visit Keylong. Drive back to Manali which takes about 6 hrs over the spectacular Rohtang Pass (3980 M) dividing the monsoon fed (Aryan Hindu, Kullu from the dry Buddhist and Mongol Lahaul and Ladakh. On a clear day , the twin peaks of Hanuman Tibba (19, 500ft) and Gayphang can be seen. Overnight in hotel.
Day 11 : Chandertal
Morning visit to Naggar- 27kms from Manali and 22km from Kulu, Naggar was the capital of Kullu Rajas till A.D. 1660. The ancient castle, now converted into Tourist Bungalow, overlooks the entire Beas Valley. Nicholas Roerich, the famous Russian painter and philosopher lived here and his quaint little house has been converted into a small museum. There are two old temples near castle. Afternoon at leisure to explore down town famous for apple orchards, its old wooden temples and its folk music and dances. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 12 : Manali-Dharamsala by surface (235 km, 9-10 hrs)
After early breakfast drive to Dharamsala. Enroute visit Palampur situated at an altitude of 1260 m. Palampur is a delightful spot in the Kangra valley. the town, surrounded by tea gardens has well planned walks and picnic spots. The mighty Dhauladhar in the back ground presents a memorable view. On your way visit Bir and Billing the famous for its Buddhist Monasteries and Tibetan Handicrafts. Halt en-route at Baijnath which is noted for its ancient Shiva Temple (804 AD). Visit the tea
gardens in Palampur. Dharamsala is the third most popular hill station in the state. Macleod-ganj a charming Tibetan settlement with bustling bazaars that sell Tibetan handicrafts and delicious Tibetan food. The major center for the studies of Tibetan culture. It is the resident of Dalai Lama and is also famous for its arts and handicrafts. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13 : Dharamsala
Forenoon visit the HH Dalai Lamas Summer Palace and Tsochling monastry. Afternoon visit Tibetian Parliament, Library and Medical Center. Evening free to rest and relax. Overnight at hotel.
Day 14 : Dharamsala-Amritsar by jeep 200 km (6-7 hrs)
After early breakfast drive to Amritsar. Amritsar, as the name suggests, is hightfully a pool of nectar. Located in the state of Punjab, Amritsar is one of the most important pilgrimage centres especially for the Sikhs in the country. The city is characterised by some of the must visit religious, historical as well as contemporary sites of importance. The Golden Temple, where Sikhs from all over the world come to pay their reverence to Guru Granth Sahib and take a dip in the Amrit Saras Kund (Pool of Immortality) for
spiritual purification is the major landmark of the place. Amritsar is also characterised by the hard working and warm-hearted people. In the afternoon visit the famous Golden Temple.
Day 15 : Amritsar-Delhi by train
In time transfer to railway station to connect Shatabdi Express for Delhi.

Day 16 :Leave Delhi
In time transfer to international airport to connect flight back home.
